What is Internal Medicine?
Internal Medicine Specialists are the Primary Care Provider (PCP) for a patient who looks at them as a whole person, specializing in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases and health conditions in adults. This is your place for routine check‐ups, well visits and sick visits with the physician who will take the time to hear your concerns.
You will find that your PCP manages chronic conditions, consults with specialists when necessary and works to ensure that there is continuity of care with all providers in navigating overall treatment plans.
